Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of performance, value creation, cash flows, benchmarking and portfolio companies.
Evaluate investment teams, sourcing, decision-making, governance, succession, alignment and key-person risk.
Review data rooms, fund documents, due diligence questionnaires, ESG information and third-party reports.
Participate in manager meetings, reference calls and other confirmatory diligence.
Prepare screening papers, investment committee materials and balanced investment recommendations.
Support market, sector, strategy and competitor research.
Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor existing investments and manager relationships.
Review quarterly reports, financial information and portfolio updates.
Identify developments in performance, strategy, teams and risk.
Maintain accurate investment data and supporting documentation.
Contribute to portfolio reviews and reporting for clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
Research and Portfolio Solutions
Research private markets trends, including fundraising, deployment, valuations, exits, liquidity and performance.
Help prepare market updates, thematic research and educational content.
Assess how funds and strategies contribute to diversified portfolios across different investor objectives and risk profiles.
Develop clear materials explaining investment strategies, positioning, performance and risks.
Collaboration and Technology
Work with ROYC’s commercial, product, technology, legal, operations and structuring teams.
Support the onboarding and launch of new investment opportunities.
Develop an understanding of the structuring, regulatory and operational considerations involved in serving private wealth clients.
Use technology, data and AI to improve investment analysis, reporting and workflows.
Contribute to the development of investment processes, analytical frameworks and data infrastructure.
Your Background
Up to two years of relevant experience, including internships or graduate roles, in investment management, financial services, consulting, transaction services or a related field.
Applications from high-performing recent graduates or Master’s degree holders with a strong interest in investing are also welcome.
