About ROYC

ROYC is the operating system for private markets, founded by leaders from Blackstone, Nordea, and Klarna. We provide one platform for every private markets workflow, helping fund managers, private banks, wealth managers and multi-family offices deploy private market strategies at scale. By combining technology, structuring and operational services, ROYC replaces fragmented tools and manual processes with structured workflows across the full lifecycle: from investor readiness and KYC to subscriptions, capital calls, reporting, and long-term servicing. Our goal is to become the leading AI-driven private markets infrastructure platform for launching, marketing and operating funds across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

What we're looking for

• 5–10 years of engineering experience, ideally in a FinTech environment

• Deep experience of TypeScript, React, and Node.js or equivalent, you're comfortable owning features end-to-end

• You know how to direct AI agents: Setting the right context, reviewing output critically, and raising the bar so the result is genuinely good, not just generated

• A solid understanding of financial services workflows, you know what regulated environments demand and how to build for that

• Experience working with AWS, and cloud-native architectures

• Fluency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern dev tooling

• Experience with Agile methodologies and a track record of shipping in fast-moving teams

What you'll do

In one sentence: own the full stack of a product redefining how private markets operate across Europe.

• Build and ship features across the full stack,from investor-facing UI to backend APIs and data pipelines

• Take the lead on technical solutions: evaluate options, drive architecture decisions, and ensure delivery

• Collaborate with product and design to turn complex financial workflows into clean, intuitive experiences

• Drive code reviews and champion development best practices across the team

• Lead and orchestrate AI agents as part of your workflow as well as inside the product, defining tasks, built-in review of output, and ensuring what ships meets the quality bar for sensitive data and high value transactions. Using AI to elevate velocity and quality.

• Help shape and mentor new engineers as the team scales

About Your Application
