About the role
- Working closely with Head of Fund Operations
- Familiarity with regulatory (AIFM) and reporting processes in alternative assets
- Support implementation of operational requirements for managing private funds within Luxembourg
- Key day-to-day contact for team in Luxembourg
- Maintain relationships and review and reconcile fund reporting prepared by third party service providers with ROYC accounting & reporting systems
- Review and analyze performance reporting and fund data to support clients and research teams
- Implementation of efficient processes and standards throughout the investment organization
- Production of financial statements for investors in accordance with prevailing regulations and standards, including coordination of accounts production process and ultimate agreement with auditors
- Oversight of third-party providers. Taking responsibility for day to day aspects of the relationship with external fund administrators, auditors and other third parties, including escalation of service issues
Preferred profile
- Qualified accountant
- +2 years of fund accounting experience
- Recent experience of private equity or venture capital fund accounting either for an investment firm/fund administrator
- Background in assisting with all aspects of private equity fund accounting including NAV calculations, cash inflows and outflows, quarterly management fee calculations, fund expenses, investment drawdowns and distributions as well as investor statements & performance reporting
- Technical experience - fund accounting, valuations, Investran/eFront/Dynamo software or similar
- Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amount of data in an efficient way
- Driven and intellectually curious, having an ambition to play a key role in building a market leading solution in the private markets.
